    Down pipe deadend!

Crikey! It is an oven door.... I'm feeling very unobservant right now  I've posted a pic of what's underneath which looks like a more standard drain fitting! Presumably I just remove the oven door and all will be well? Any ideas what i should do about the damage to the wall?

    Down pipe deadend!

Hi Our house has a down pipe that leads to a drain but the drain has a fairly solid lid on it... The water isn't draining away properly and now it is damaging the wall. Not sure how to go about repairing. Is this a diy job and if not who should I get in? A roofer, a builder or a general...

    Futureproof shower

Thanks Moggot That's really helpful. Interesting point on the boiler as I do have a family. We were thinking a combi as the guy from British Gas suggested a combi was a no brainer.... I think we'll have to do some research. If we decide the old boiler will be replaced like for like then a...

    Futureproof shower

We are planning a new bathroom including a new shower. We currently have an old boiler with a big hot water tank in the airing cupboard and tanks in the roof. We'll likely need a new boiler in the next couple of years and are thinking a combi would be best. Is there a shower that would...
