Thanks for the quick reply, the pipe you said to install to on the far left is a larger diameter, the pipe which is third over from the far left I think is 22mm and would be long enough to fit the unit too, would the third from the left be OK to install too ? as they seem to come in 22mm...

Hi All... Had British gas out some time ago as some of rads were not getting hot, even though I have breakdown cover they would not touch my system and they said they wanted 850 to power flush and fit a magnaclean. I'm not able to fork out 850, so had to go the DIY route, so far 3 weeks...

Can anyone confirm that if I get the new design Siemens pcb, is it a case of just unscrew the old pcb and take out the connectors to the board and screw in the siemens and then re-plug in the connectors to the Siemens board...?? I know if I just get the same board it's a simple unscrew take...

Cheers for the reply, just left the heating and water off for about 45mins, put heating back on and no cut outs !! plus rads are now hot !! Now knowing that the things on it's last legs was going to get the british gas breakdown cover, can anyone tell me what level of cover I need to avoid...
