4.5 x 50's I think. I've been reading and apparently screws give a better holding strength but nails give you the sheer strength? Everything has been fitted and seems secure, just got a little paranoia! Was thinking of removing the screws and replacing with 40mm twist nails?

Ive a small span ceiling around 3.5m. The joists are nailed to the bearers on installation, but as I was installing a 350l hot water cylinder above, I was advised to install joist hangers for extra protection. Problem is I've used gold screws instead of 40mm twist nails, which I now understand...
