Getting side extension done - approved plans look like this. window right next to new font door. I'd like to move the window out to the right a bit, can this be done, or will building control/planning not be happy?

Spoke to the builder who suggested just to build an offset porch that digises it. Half on existing house half on extension. Front door with slim window panel wpuld help offset slightly.

Thanks. Spent several hours speaking to people and only seen a photo of one in existence. I wonder if a thin long canopy would detract the attention a little.

Currently have an extended 3 bed semi, and the front door is on the side of the house. Just had planning approved to have a single story side extension. as such the main entrance will be at the front. I've tried mocking this up quickly in paint, but realised very quicky - I've never seen this...
