Can you expand a bit on that for me please as I am a plumbing novice! My main concern is that I could be losing out on the cold pressure since it is going up another floor, round that floor a bit then back down into the bathroom when it passes the bathroom feeds on it's way up to the tank...

    Mixer Valve Question

Hi Again, Was wondering if different water pressure (hot & cold) to a thermostatic valve will damage it? Still got the cold to the shower using the cold water from the tank in the loft (gravity)while the hot is coming from a mains pressure unvented cylinder. Will be like this for a week or...

    What size Megaflo

Thanks for the quick answers. Are you kids teenagers or has it been emptied under normal use & how many bathrooms do you have? So much for the manufacturers guidelines! Looks like the 250 will be a better option for me then - will also switch to a Santon as it not the first time that I...

Thanks for the quick response. The outside tap has a flow rate of about 16ltr a min but I assume that there will be more than this going to the megaflo as the pipes to that will be 22mm as opposed to 15mm to the outside tap?

advise needed on plumbing \ heating system

thanks for your comments so far. So if I have undertood correctly the custom tank will create more problems than it solves? I have looked at the Bosch HiFlow but this would mean relocating the bolier to the understairs cupboard (it's currently in the kitchen about 4 metres away from the...
