CH pipes and water pipe run.

So If I put the cold water on the bottom clips and the hot the one above it is this far too close? I thought with heat rising and all the cold on the bottom would be best. I could route the water pipes above the CH but thought this a bad idea also.

CH pipes and water pipe run.

Hi I am linking up CH pipes for UF heating and running hot and cold water into extension. I have them all heading to the same corner and don't want them too close. The water pipes are below CH pipes and need to run above them to get to bathroom. The only thing I can think off is to aim the CH...

Hi I have purchased an inline extractor fan as I was advised that these are good https://www.toolstation.com/airvent-100mm-mixed-flow-inline-extractor-fan/p70282 It will be going in a small bathroom. I will position it in the middle of the bathroom as to get above the shower there is a noggin...

    Fused spur new build 350mm?

I don't think part M applies to me as mine is an extension and not a new build. Does this sound right?

    Fused spur new build 350mm?

I did yes. I though I had read it somewhere but looking again it looks like it's just 150mm? Part M maybe I'm not sure this is a snipet. .. "To enable access by wheelchair users, outlets, switches and controls should be at least 350 mm from room corners"

    Fused spur new build 350mm?

Hi I need a switched fused spur to supply underfloor heating wiring. I take it I can put this nearer than 350mm to a wall corner seeing as it's not a socket and won't need touching regularly ? I wanted to include it in the ring final also would this be ok it's the wiring for thermostats and...

    32mm hole in stud 4 x 2

Joists are 8 inch so I think the hole for these is OK it's the non load bearing stud work that's 4 x 2. Maybe do 2 smaller through these?

    32mm hole in stud 4 x 2

No sorry that's my fault you are right the leg for the return is the other side of building. It's 1 x 2.5mm, 1 x 10mm and 1 x 1.5 or 1mm for lights.

    32mm hole in stud 4 x 2

    Yeah I tried that. I can get 1 x 10mm and 1x 2.5mm max!

    32mm hole in stud 4 x 2

Well it's a 10mm for shower, two 2.5 for ring and light cable. Come to think of it I might just need that size for when the shower terminate for the isolation and then runs to the shower. Electrician said keep the wires together as much as possible.

    32mm hole in stud 4 x 2

Hi I have agreed with my electrician to run some cables around for him. Part of the run involves drilling through joists which I don't have a problem with as have LABC guidelines/ regs of where I can drill but to get to the joist I have to drill some stud wall timber ( non load bearing) can I...

Shower isolator and Extractor fan recommendations

https://www.toolstation.com/airvent-100mm-mixed-flow-inline-extractor-fan/p70282 This one is a little more than the other because it's mixed flow maybe? Reviews look OK so maybe a good bet? Some are only £30 but I want a decent one!
