I don't see myself as manual labour because putting anybody in front of a boiler is illegal. Unless I decide to go back to manual labouring, I need to find work and sometimes might have to take a cut just to survive

Partly because I'm interested in the technology, and then there is no easier time to sell one then when I fit a new boiler. Also it gives me a bit more margin. You can do the same if you join the smart installer club

the noise has disappeared and the hallway rad acts as the bypass. why wouldn't it be without the bypass

i actually know a lot about this. however once technology comes up with something cheaper than an expensive interface, why would somebody pay 200 quid for a thermosat

For all that smart thermostats are said to be, they are just a remote switch. There are so many promises of what they can do, but if they don’t read the fault codes on the boiler, predict faults, suggest energy savings etc what’s the point. But all of this can be done via a connected boiler...

Hi I’ve been meaning to update you all for a while. The boiler was a KD Navien. The issue was the Honeywell straight auto bypass valve. I’ve now removed this, and the system is now perfect.
