I replaced the board but now I have an error e15 I can't find any hits online for that .... well nothing substantial anyway. Model is a Hoover VHD844DB-80 if anyone has had similar or can help? The electric originally tripped when the machine was in full spin mode ... I'm now wondering...

Hoover VisionHD 1400 washing machine wont start

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me please? I have no experience at this sort of thing but willing to do what I can to fix it. Washing machine stopped working and tripped the breaker. Wife swears blind that she didn't overfill it, but I have my doubts. :? Anyway, the door security...

    Levelling Ad-Mix ??

Hi, Thanks for your replies. I only want to bring the floor up about 75mm so should I just be thinking about screeding with some mesh ? The floor that's there isn't all that bad, just cracked a little and rather uneven.

    Levelling Ad-Mix ??

Hello, I'm struggling a bit here. I have a knackered out concrete floor and want to lay a nice thick layer of concrete on top of it as a new floor. The area however is 7 by 7m and there is no way, even in a dream I'll stand a chance of getting it level (and not even too sure about how...

    Render ... and I don't want a fight

Before I start ... yes I have read the 'BLOWN RENDER' post (well some/most of it anyway) but to be honest that just made me more confused. I am speaking about an internal wall that has had a touch of damp in the past (not to mention some movement). I'm planning to clean down the walls...

    soil pipe

What happens to the waste when it's flushed ? I think not. They are definatley overflow pipes though yes ? When I changed mine there was still a smell after the new one was fitted. It was VERY old and I found that the smell was actually from the really old plumbers mate that I had...

    Brick/Block Adhesive ?

Does anyone know of a brick adhesive that mixes from dual tubes in an oversized mastic gun? Apparently it ideal for sorting out cracked/seperated brickwork and I need some, but have no idea what it's called. All the building suppliers I have been to know of it, but do not know the name...

    Strengthen a wall ?

A 25 foot tree has been the cause in the past and I imagine it's moved the base that the garage sits on. It's on council land however and I think people might get a bit annoyed if I get the chain saw on it. :) As it's a garage it doesn't have to be great and that's why I'm having a crack...

    Strengthen a wall ?

I have an old garage wall that has shown signs of movement (cracks in brickwork) over the past 20 or so years. I don't want to knock it down and rebuild, but I was wondering how I could strength it ? Is some sort of steel reinforcemnt available ? Kind Regards,

    Slow

The valve seems fully open. Anyone got any other ideas ... or should I just stop grumbling and start running the bath now, for Sunday. :?

    Slow

Shut the valve first right ? Hmmm .... didn't see any crap at all, but no filter to speak of either.

    Slow

Yep .... once it's on it's pretty much at full flow. :( I can open it up as much as I want after that .... makes no difference tho. Small washing up bowl (no std bucket sorry) in 5 mins 1ltr in 35 seconds So i'm getting less than 2ltr a min ... surely this can't be right ?

    Slow

I've only been in my house about 4 months and it's been like it from the start (my first house and I foolishly didn't check). Cold water to the taps is at rocket speed, but to fill a std bucket from the hot, i'd say about 5 mins ... maybe more. I will confirm later.

    Slow

Hi, I have an Ideal Isar combi (think it's a m30100), except it isn't all that ideal. The hot water runs very slowly and can take almost an hour to fill the bath. I understand that I cannot have any sort of pump attached?. What could it be/what can I do ? Cheers

Empty tank, fast cold & slooow hot

The tank in the loft definatley is not in use and I have an Ideal Isar combi. Checking the emersion also, it appears empty/dead.

Empty tank, fast cold & slooow hot

I just don’t have a clue. I've not been long in my first house and I'm finding things out as I go along, so please be gentle. I have a water tank in my loft, but it's completely empty of water, so I guess that I am being fed from the mains. Is this a good idea ? Should/could I...
