Not doing me out of a job :) quite simply you should not touch anything gas related unless you are competant, most rgi`s won`t sign off your pipework either. You can connect all pipework to the new boiler bar the gas. And tell me how will the rgi check your pipework if you have it buried behind...
it can be inside, the trouble may be when digging the footings the gas main (which is the yellow pipe) may not be deep enough to allow the footings in, if this is the case your best bet is to get the box moved as the pipe would need to be cut anyway.
If he has cut half way through your joists they are ruined, you can`t cut more than 1/4 of a notch into a joist before you cause major weakness in it.
Although if they are cut half way through i can`t for the life of me figure why the 22mm pipe won`t sit in enough for the boards to be laid back?
When you blew down the pipe did you make sure the tap was open :)
Sounds like a blockage to me though. look in this thread for how to fix it

Thats fine gas pipe does not need to be boxed nor lagged.
Yes they should repair any damage they did when installing, Have they left the pipwork proud of the joists so the boards won`t rest on them?
see question 1
This is fine
when the job is done.
only 5 or 6 years old and corroded? that should not happen, best bet, measure the sizes and look online for something as close as possible, if they are only 5-6 years old then you should easily find the same sizes.
Your overflow is dripping, which means the inlet valve is not closeing properly and the cwst is overflowing. change the inlet and you should stop the drip :)
I`ve never seen tails (15 to 8mm i assume) on basin taps before, weird.
But at a guess it is simply not tightened up enough, i can`t imagine why it only leaks when you use the shower maybe something to do with the change in pressure.
from the link you posted
As it is mains fed and your mains pressure should be more than 2 bar then i figure you`ll have no trouble with the larger shower head nor the 2bar requirement.
you may have supplied them but you did not fit them, i very much doubt that the rads are at fault, tell the plumber to stop bullshitting you and come back and balance the system properly.
