Hi all
Real problems this end now.
Monobloc tap leaks from the bottom of tap on bathroom basin where tailend goes in (hot water side).
I went to screwfix and purchased 2 new tails and put them on and wholla.....happened again.
Could it be a faulty tap.
My system is pressured.
I usually find it leaks after i have had the main shower on for a short time which is on the same piping as the basin taps.

i would be grateful for any assistance in this matter etc

:)

I`ve never seen tails (15 to 8mm i assume) on basin taps before, weird.
But at a guess it is simply not tightened up enough, i can`t imagine why it only leaks when you use the shower maybe something to do with the change in pressure.

Could be a scratch or small groove on the plating of the tap which doesn't enable the o-ring on the tail to provide a perfect seal. Variation of pressure plus inevitable minor vibration of pipework when water flows to shower exacerbates it.

Did tap come from Screwfix? Ive had a dodgy basin mixer from them, didnt leak, just wouldnt shut off. They replaced it, no questions asked.
