i dunno agile he says the flow sensor comes on and the water only comes through if he keeps hitting the reset button, it sounds like he is forceing through a small amount just with pressure being applied. But ya get advice from an engineer. always the best bet :)

    Central heating problems

give the trv`s a tap with a hammer, or use pliers to gently pull the pin up and down, more than likely they are gunged up. if that fails drain the system, hose out the rads and replace the trv`s.

Re - IS there any boiler to suit my needs??

just use a combi, you don`t need a gravity fed system lmao. The rads can run off the combi, no need to pipe in the dhw.

    Central heating Install

Were are you getting your copper pipe from jonjb? £90 for pipeing an entire house? I spent 250 to 300 quid on pipe for the 3 bed house i did (detached house larger than your average semi) so how you do a house with just 90 quids worth of pipe is beyond me. seven rads for 200 quid? were do you...

    Central heating Install

Jesus christ, it would not be possible to do it for 2k the materials come to more than that. Even 3 to 3.5 is way to low i believe, to replace the entire system you are looking at 2 to 2.5k in materials doing such a large job for one grand is insane. Were do you live that prices are so low? @...

Installing a new bathroom suite advice needed

If the cupboard is designed for the sink it should have a hole for the sink to sit into, if not the ridge on the back should have two holes, measure them off and drill, insert hexagon bolt screws (sorry don`t know the right name) and they will hold the sink. As you now have a combi useing 15 mm...

    Central heating Install

I would strongly reccomend against diy`ing such a large job, let the plumber do, along with the combi it should cost no more than £8000 including materials thats a rough quote of course without seeing the property.

    noisy shower pump

The noise should not be that bad, is it sat on rubber or foam pads? This will reduce noise caused by vibration.

You need to know how to do it :) It is not really a diy job, you would be better off getting a plumber in to do it.

    Power Shower ADVICE NEEDED

You would have to get a negative head pump (expensive) if you stick it in the attic mate. best bet if you have no room in the airing cupboard is under the bath. You need to run pipes from both cold and hotwater feeds. The coldwater feed has to be from the gravity feed not the mains. Just...
