    Evohome BDR91 and Powermax HE150/Drayton LP722 Wiring

Ah ok, sounds pretty easy, think I can cope with that putting it next to the LP722 and then leave the LP722 to permanently on for the heating. Lets see how I get on :)

    Evohome BDR91 and Powermax HE150/Drayton LP722 Wiring

I thought the batteries were a ‘backup’ as the backing plate says 24-230v on it, or is that referring to the potential voltage in of the wires coming in? I’m probably best wiring it at the drayton 2 channel controller... will the thermostat connect to this or run to the boiler?

What would a family prefer: bath + shower or just shower?

Yeah ours wouldn't stay in a sink...

What would a family prefer: bath + shower or just shower?

Fyi, some context to mine... try bathing a baby/young child in a shower :)

What would a family prefer: bath + shower or just shower?

Yeah don't remove the bath 100%. Keep the bath over shower situation no matter how small.

    Evohome BDR91 and Powermax HE150/Drayton LP722 Wiring

As an alternate idea, do I just strip the Honeywell thermostat off the wall and put the BDR91 there? IMG_8296 by steve.mack posted 2 May 2019 at 9:15 PM IMG_8297 (1) by steve.mack posted 2 May 2019 at 9:15 PM

    Evohome BDR91 and Powermax HE150/Drayton LP722 Wiring

After some guidance, I asked a similar question in another thread but now I'm onto specifics, we've just had all our rads changed and I've got all these Evohome TRVs to fit now. I couldn't find a local expert on evohome. The one guy I found who had some knowledge, said he's never seen our...

    Tilt/Open UPVC Windows Refurb

Morning All, We've got a conservatory that's about 16 years old, there's a small leak but it's in a weird place, water is coming up from the seals at the bottom of the windows. I've been told it could be blocked drain holes or something? Does this sounds right? If so is it a new frame...

    Evohome/Zoned Heating and 10mm Pipe

Ahh True, without the heads it can't shut the rads off..

    Evohome/Zoned Heating and 10mm Pipe

Also, I'm going to use the main panel as a thermostat for living room with 2 rads... I assume there's no point putting the HR92s on the 2 rads in there as with any thermostat?

    Evohome/Zoned Heating and 10mm Pipe

Thanks, that calms my concerns. How much noise are we talking about? I'm leaving 3 towel rads in bathrooms without TRVs so there's bypass to help prevent noise. Also, does 10mm cap our radiators sizes? We want to make 2 rads bigger in a 7x4m living room, they're underpowered for the room...

    Evohome/Zoned Heating and 10mm Pipe

We currently have a Potterton Powermax HE Boiler and 18 Rads across the house. Boiler is underpowered to me but that's another topic. We're going to start installing evohome but I'm a little worried about our pipework. We have a 22mm pipe leaving the boiler so I'm guessing that goes round the...

    Texecom 32XP Address error.

I realised while I was commissioning it all what I'd done, but thought, nevermind, I only needed 14 of the wireless zones. Hopefully won't need any more in future. 14 Wireless and 8 wired zones has the house well covered :)

    Texecom 32XP Address error.

Random question, when I setup my premier 48, I misread the instructions; I thought keypads and expanders should be on seperate network channels. I now understand that keypads and expanders aren't the same. However I've setup my system with the expander addressed as 3. It's only giving me...
