I know there's plenty room for the c u, that wasn't the issue needed to maintain din rail in same position otherwise could have been short using other such as hager/ wylex as their din rail would've been 20/30mm lower down. Or am I missing something

Internet if the new one is same size I know it will fit to cables without extension, the eaton is a updated version of the original memera 2000 that's in place now. I'll ask again, are EATON good quality

The outgoing circuit cables ain't s problem I was concerned about the main supply cable the bg C U looks like it'll suffice

The main power supply cable to the main c u switch may need extending how to do it? The circuit cables ain't a problem that are top entry and are not effected

The existing unit looks like it's shorter depth compared to today's units just need to know if necessary to extend cables

Yes on the main supply yhat runs from the meter and a switch on the signal cable that feeds the E7 contactor

Am I correct that when new c u being installed there's only the customers (mine) 80 amp fuse that needs pulling and not the dno supply fuse

Just to add main fuse is zfter the meter this is in addition to dno fuse

1. Existing c u is tight to the ceiling, can new one go in same place. 2. I live in a 2nd floor flat, meter is on ground floor with main 80 amp fuse close by do I need another fuse

I'm having new oven an hob, no change to existing supply is involved

The isolators, installed 2008 are approx 200mm from hob and sink, I believe the minimum of 300mm is recommendation only

Oven, wattage will be 5.5kw, maybe that's where the smaller cable runs too just wanted to make sure so the electrician won't quibble, applying diversity tells me it' OK

There two cables running from the c u to cooker/ hob but I can't tell which goes where until the existing hob and cooker are taken out, one at 4mm the other at 6mm will the 4mm cable suffice if it's running to the hob
