Roughly how much should it cost to cap a chimney?

Thanks for your reply, I'm only going off the advice from the roofer I contacted who recommended capping it.

Roughly how much should it cost to cap a chimney?

Hi I have an old terraced house near Buxton, I'm getting some damp stains on the chimney so I'm thinking it should be capped. It's no longer used. Any idea how much that should cost roughly please?

How can I cut a hole in this tiled area to get access to stop valve?

Thanks for all your help, I may have some spare but I'm not sure. Ideally I would like to get rid of all the dated tiling long term, but it's a big job.

How can I cut a hole in this tiled area to get access to stop valve?

Hi , I have a back to wall toilet that has caused leaks. I didn't fit it but I know there's a stop valve somewhere behind those tiles. I'm wondering whether it's feasible to cut one tile out to investigate? They are on plywood. Would I need a multi tool kind of saw? Thanks

Any idea why my roof is dropping at the corner?

It looks like the roof is dropping slightly, I am wondering if it's going rotten. We have had birds in there if that makes any difference.

This is knocking and water is leaking from somewhere you can't see what's causing it?

Having looked through that it seems to me that the problem is that the pressure relief valve should be 6 bar instead of the 3 bar one that's fitted. I've messaged the plumber about that.

This is knocking and water is leaking from somewhere you can't see what's causing it?

From looking at that it says if the incoming pressure exceeds 6 bar a pressure reducing valve should be fitted. Then something about not using the pressure relief valve supplied.

This is knocking and water is leaking from somewhere you can't see what's causing it?

Hi It's a Tesy bilight 80litre tank, the importers told me the expansion vessel should be fitted on the hot side despite the manufacturers instructions saying the opposite. I spoke to the manufacturers which are a Polish company when I got it who told me that they don't bother with expansion...

This is knocking and water is leaking from somewhere you can't see what's causing it?

Hi again, it's started releasing water from the PRV as if the tap was on full. The plumber says we need a pressure reducing valve and set it to 2 bar, the relief valve is 3bar. I want to get a decent one, my plumbers merchants do a master flow one is that a good make? Otherwise Screwfix have...
