That's what we had (probably still do) at Reuters. Huge banks of lead-acid batteries in each machine room with inverters to bridge the gap whilst the gennies came online.
Generators in large installations are really only useful/intended to allow for a clean shutdown, or to bridge the gap whilst the affected systems are switched over to the alternative grid feed, Oh. wait a minute, there isn't one !
I'm surprised that LHR is not fed from two geographically separated substations with diverse cable routing around the airport, and with the ability to support the entire load from 9ne or other if one fails, as is often done for large data centres.
IMO that's a bit backwards. It's the CCC of the cable that is reduced by a higher Ta, not the current rating of the OPD. Their reasoning is that you have to apply the correction for 3036 fuses that way so you might as well do them all that way. Who uses 3036 fuses these days?
As you suggest, I...
You're applying the ambient temperature correction factor to the wrong thing - you apply it to the CCC of the CABLE not the OPD. You just need to check that the corrected CCC of the cable is still >= the OPD rating.
The CCC of the cable is 36A method C @30C. You apply the ambient Ca correction...

I mean people who want 900Mb/s + speeds, not 150M, I have that and it speeds up software updates and video uploads to YouTube very nicely.
I started out with Demon Internet and a 300bps acoustic coupler.
It's not like thermostat. A thermistor changes resistance with temperature, it doesn't have contacts.
If you can find the nominal resistance from documentation, you can check it with a suitable meter.
If you disconnect the incoming analogue line from your existing master socket and connect the line from the router to 2 & 5 on an extension near the router it should work. Mine works fine that way. Or move the master socket to where the router is, BT won't know or care.
Very unlikely each outlet on a twin pate would be on different circuits. I've seen plugs/sockets with "T" shaped earth pins used in hospitals for connecting medical equipment t deidcated/clean earth supply. You can still get them ...
My street was done about 8 months ago and the improvement in light coverage and quality over the old yellow sodium lamps is immense. In addition there is much less stray light both upwards and sideways.
They did a one for one replacement of the existing lights, each one took about thirty...
