    Its not a pump its a circulator its not meant to develop pressure ,iwould not expect to see much if any gain in pressure, if the pipe gets hot behind the pump its working.

    Electrical fault, clock powers boiler on hot water and heating, on hot water only clock only powers boiler and the hot water runs on gravity. On h/w +htg the clock powers the pump via the roomstat. On old gravity systems you cannot run the htg separately from the hot water.

    If you are worried about pressuring your rads install an open vented combi, but your hot water system will be at mains pressure as with any combi.

    Dont bother trying to feed inlets to shower seperatly put in a twin impeller pump and supply hot and cold via the cws tank ,it will work properly for years.

    Yes it is ,its polypropylene pipe stamped with bs 5254 and is approved for d2 discharge pipes .

    There should be an o ring somewhere! Used these a lot in Spain and they can be temperamental never needed ptfe or as the Spanish call it Teflon.
