I sent my missus the bill but she told me to F off :D I'm still waiting for this to break again... Maybe it was a sticky switch. The ACF-50 seems to have cured it..... I'll post back if it goes wrong again.... Thanks again...

Potterton EP2002 and Myson MPE222 valve problem..

Does the motor on the 2 port valve continue to operate even when the valve is fully open and it can travel no further. I ask this because I have disassembled my 2 port valve to investigate why occasionally the boiler does not get a call to heat the water and noticed that even if I tape the...

Cistern plumbing - help needed with cold feed connector size

Hi I'm replacing the toilet cistern valve which is well past it use by date with a Torbeck Ecofil bottom entry valve.. The new Torbeck connector is shorter than the original by 5mm so i need to do a small amount of plumbing work to re-connect the cold feed. The pipe size is 15mm so i thought...

    Flexible pipe connector

I'm confident it's condensation for the following reasons. The leaking joint is a few feet above the toilet so it cannot be from waste water.. The pipe is dry above the joint The joint itself is not dry an the clamp on the joint is broken I think its forming where the cold air from...

replacing honeywell motor in motorised valve

Fortunately I do have a multimeter but didn't need it because my valves have an led that indicates when open. So I operated the valve manually and the led lit up and everything started up as normal. So I knew the motor was receiving power.. Good luck..
