Is that difficult? Unless there is another way to stop the alarm going off in 6 hours when the back up battery dies?

btw it is a contactum board. can it only take contactum mcb's

no I switched off the main switch in the curcuit board and it still would not go on

I have not done any wiring. The MCB did not trip. I switched it off and now it will not go back on. There is a point when attempting to switch on the fuse about 7/8th of the way back where the power goes on to the alarm and when I push it a bit further it goes off again.

Thanks for reply. I have tried that and it still won't work. I have also switched off the power to entire board and tried to reset switch. Still trips.

Hi I just changed the battery to my Accenta Alarm. I had set it to tamper setting and fitted the new battery. I then turned off the MCB to move the keypad panel. I have not yet opened the keypad panel but the MCB will not go back on. There is not much resistance when turning it on...

Hi Thanks for that. I pressed PROG9999 and the TA Light went on. Yet when I switched of the power the outside alarm immediately sounded and I couldnt turn it off until I turned on the power and put in the code.

Hi guys, hope you can help. My ADE Accenta+ Gen 3 Keypad was fitted some years ago by a fitter who is no longer in the business. I need to move the panel a few inches to position a mirror on that wall. Can I just open the panel and resite it. Or do i need to turn alarm off completely...
