Hi, Friend had some work done, removed polystyrene tiles then skimmed. This was less than a week ago but the plaster is showing up where the glue had been. Not sure if walls were PVA’d before plaster, what next? Stain blocker? Need to see if the plaster fully dries out. Any help, advice welcome.

This is what it ended up looking like. The black dispersed but still left a ring but hardly noticeable.

here is what it looks like after one application. I have reapplied, it has lightened the area but I am sure I can blending this and it still needs 2/3 coats of oil. A lot better than it was but lets hope the 2nd coat makes a further difference.
