Hi all, I noticed this today - the damp patch around the area where this soil vent pipe enters/exits the brickwork. It's quite high up there so I'm not exactly rushing to grab my ladder. May opt to hire a scaffold tower. Anyway, can anyone tell if this looks like this is just condensation...

Sorry to resurrect this. With this approach, the sister would need notching too, same dimension as the original. Is it still worth doing?
