Hi had electrician in and he checked my lights and switches out etc couldn't find anything wrong but he thinks that I'm mistaken and that the switch was always that way and there's no other explanation , sorry but I was convinced it was different. :oops: :oops:

I will take the black wire out tom from the light switch iand see what happens and im sure theyre in the right place, what woukd happen if the brown went to the 2 black wires and the blue went to the single black wire would it trip or blow the transformer yes its the only switch to that room

The transformer has overload and surge protection on it does this help

No wiring diagrams only these 2 pages and the invoice , its the same as the old Transformer that was in so I put the wires in the same contacts

yes on the photo the first set of wires are from the light , blue on the left brown on the right then the 2nd set of screws the wire is from the ceiling blue on the left brown on the right. Then it goes into the connector from the ceiling blue into the 2 black wires and brown into the single...

So do I change the red wires back to the L2 position or is it ok as it is ??

Been in the house for 25 years and as far as I know if it had been turned upside down we would have moved the red wires to L1 so it came on the same as the other light switches, and definitely not been touched since the light popped.

So John what do you mean, do I take the red wires from L1 leave them not connected then see if the lights are on?

If I made a mistake in the wiring wouldn't it trip the trip switch. I have connected the transformer and to the ceiling electrics exactly as it was previously, :? could it be the transformer????

ok should I change the red wires back to the original position, would that be safer :?

moved it over to L1 and HEY presto down is on :D :D :D :D :D :D :D so should it all be safe as it still doesn't solve why it reversed
