Thanks, we have brick skin. We've used fire socks around the cavity, standard cavity closers. Externally, expanding weatherproof tape, low expansion foam for thermal insulation in the middle and then an airtight vapour tape internally..
Thanks. Theres meeting building regs and then theres achieving a fitting spec that matches the the higher spec windows. Part of my research about that was asking the question on here. I've now found the spec we want, ordered the materials and my joiner is here fitting them at this very moment...
I'd say if you are going to comment on someones query on a DIY forum, stick to the subject matter. Sometimes, people sign contracts with builders without having a crystal ball about what exactly type of job they'll do. I'm guessing you have a crystal ball... Well done you

We got triple glazed aluminium units as there’s a high proportion of glass to m2.

We've got cast concrete once weathered coping stones to finish off our parapet roof.
I'm asking about correct or good setting out of stones when theres 200mm leftover from full stones. My builder is telling me they work from each side and then put a sliver central.
I know this is a DIY forum...
it’s detached.. Yes this was the case as well. The patio outside had been built up to the air bricks. But this has been rectified.
The missing brick has been built at the time of construction including the pipe on the other side of this brick.
We are thinking it’s some sort of soak away? Why...
We are stumped. We’ve asked various people and had a drain company out.
We just bought a house and realised that under the kitchen tiles and 2 layers of board the floor was sodden.
There were 3 problems. One a slow leak from the sink. Fixed. Two, water from the gutter soaking through and down...
Ive just bought 2, 2 door bifold oak doors from Facebook marketplace. So I need to make one door using 3 of the panels. Thank you for all of the tips :)
