    Iv seen the one for the wall boxes, tbh they both looked good! Saw the video for the spotlights too, just wondered if anyone has used them and what they thought of them. How was the wall boxes?     My plasterer says he can skim it, but the finish around the spotlights might not be great - possibly uneven or prone to crackcing. He suggested it might be better to overboard the ceiling with plasterboard first and then skim, especially for a smooth finish around the downlights I've also found...

    As much an of adventure that is, i am afraid it would be abit too much. Another issue is the height ceiling of the living room is not that great, so increasing floor height would make it worse.

    Their is a step down into the study room. The chamber which is an access for the pipe for the downstairs bathroom, so potentially could be moved outside?

    I think that would be my only option. Apply for ground floor extension to the boundary and extending it to be inline with the rear of the house. And if approved, apply for a 2nd story extension
