Repressurise the PV on a ravenheat 820/20

Thanks for the reply. yep it sits at 1 (ish) bar when off - it only drops below this if its gone over 3 when running - i assume because the pressure relief is letting some water out?. when on, even when turned down it hits 3 or just below within 10-20 minutes. so if its at the back can i...

Repressurise the PV on a ravenheat 820/20

Hello Everyone. my ravenheat 820/20 is hitting >3bar when running the CH and so is passing water out through the safety relief valve. I've been a good boy and read the FAQs and they seem to point me toward 'REPRESSURISING THE PRESSURE VESSEL'. I have a few questions: 1) Is this a DIY job or...

    RCD or not RCD?

Yep sorry its says 80Amp, .03a which i presume is 30ma? i know all circuits shoulnt be on this but the CU was in here when i moved in, i think new split load CU is on the cards. we do get nuisance trips that kill all power.

    RCD or not RCD?

All circuits on my CU are covered by an 80ma RCD, just installed a whirlpool bath and it came with an 30ma RCD. Should this be used even if spurring off the ring main that is covered by the RCD on the CU? if so why? P.s. i know this is notifiable. mostly curious

Putting a turn\wind in stairs, existing support questionable

Hello all. i'm looking at the possibility of putting a turn into our existing straight stairs and whilst looking at the joists on the top landing i've found that the stairs aren't supported in the manner i'm used to - if at all! I was expecting the top of the stairs to be leaning against the...
