Hi, We just had some engineered wood put down and there is some PVA residue that was left behind from the installers fitting the floor. Is there a safe product that will allow me to remove this residue without damaging the floor? Can I just use a damp cloth and some sort of soap? Thanks!

I will be applying some gyproc Easi-Fill over some existing plaster with divots and cracks. Do I need to use PVA or can I apply the Easi-Fill directly?

Would it be better to take it out and do it again with bonding/hardwall and then multi-finish or level it up with easi-fill and sand?

Thanks, I've been reading and I think that it was the wrong product (like you said) and dried too quickly. Rookie move, I'll just either pull it out if it doesn't harden properly and try again or try to finish it off with poli-fill and sand (there is nothing in the room so dust doesn't matter).

Didn't really know - just browsed on TLC until I found one that said for insulated crimps. I'm not sure how big the crimps are - I hope that they fit under the socket front. If not, I guess I will have to buy a deeper back box and do more chasing in.
