Hi there,

I recently demolished an old shed in our garden and my wife would like to cover the remaining raised concrete slab with wooden decking.

Can someone offer me some guidance on how I would do this? Would I need to build a frame of joists on the concrete, or could I anchor the wood directly to the concrete slab? What type of decking would you recommend?

The concrete slab is 2.1 x 1.5 m and about 8cm high off the ground.

Thanks in advance...

the frame can be supported off of the slab by small wooden legs. you wont need to attach it to the concrete, the weight of the deck will hold it in place.
