    Pine T&G floor on battens over tile & concrete base

    I have a cottage which is tiles on top of concrete throughout and not very even. I want to create a stepped up lounge floor using 3" x 2" battens and pine T&G. What's the best way to do this, do I need a moisture membrane under the battens, can I still screw the battens into the concrete...
