    I want to build a raised planter against my neighbours extension wall, whats the best way to waterproof their side. At the moment soil would be against it from about 40cm high to about 1m high and about 3m long, the bed will only be 30cm wide with a weep hole at one end.

    I've now got from botom up 150mm hardcore, sand blinded, visqueen dpm, 100mm concrete (poured last Saturday so i take it its ok to cover now?) should it be another dpm on top of the concrete before the 125mm poly insulation or insulation then dpm??? The rest of the floor will be underfloor...

    levelling batons for concrete slab

    I'm hoping to lay the concrete slab for my extension this weekend and as the walls are up its been suggested that i use battons to get to the right height and level. Does the batton go against the wall and then dpm over it or will this make using the batton difficult? if the dpm goes up the wall...
