    What type of material for a kitchen floor

    I'm having a 1870 Victorian house renovated and extended and the kitchen will be in the new extension. My problem at the moment is the flooring for the whole of the downstairs less the living room which will be carpeted. There are so many options for flooring and I don't know what to choose...
