I want to upsize my radiator. The central heating i inlet pipe is 8mm on each side. The rad connections are 15mm. Essentially I have to connect the 8mm pipe facing up, to the 15mm valve facing down, and there is only about 6 inches between them. I haven't got a pipe bender. What are my options?

My Vokera compact boiler started to not ignite at times, till eventually it wouldn't ignite at all. Called an engineer who disconnected the rubber hose at the top of the boiler above the fan and blew into it. That seemed to 'fix' the problem, but he warned me that it could recur and a new boiler...
