Nope homeserve found the problem and told my wife that she would have to get someone else in to do it, no help no recommendations.

Can't get in touch with old plumber, doesnt return calls. Is he really likely to come back and do it again..don't think so. I'm going to flush it because thats what the bloke from homeserve said needed to be done before he would replace the heat exchanger, as debris has caused it stop working...
