can a jubillee clip be used where a gland cannot be used with a fly lead?

thanks for such quick replies. so even if we have a seperate earthing conductor within the armoured cable at least one end needs to have armouring connected to earth and no stuffing glands should be used?

im not part p either but i do not undertake the works . Im a maintenance spark for a large firm who has the ness paperworks etc but i cant use it for my own purposes just advising my freind, wot would u suggest is the best route

Yes. Trying to help him out of a situation, not really his fault, the installer ignored my advice. explained about the need for building control to oversee it if he wasnt part p but obviously didnt approach them while on site (checking structual works only).

Why ? its only advice and Inspection to make sure its completed correctly.

We have hot water from the cylinder and the zone valve has tension when bioler is off then when switched on it is loose and no tension whatsoever and boiler does not fire...

no hes been employed by our letting landlord, think hes just a plumber to be honest. Ive downloaded a pdf manual and the display "C" = hating active, but the boiler is not firing up no fan noise nothing. any ideas?
