    Ideal logic plus prv replacement

Hi, the prv on my boiler is leaking from its outlet. I'm looking at changing it out but having just removed the front cover it is situated right at the back behind the pump. How easy is it to take out the pump to get access to the prv?

    Unvented system quote

Thanks for all replies Just spoke to plumber again and decided to go with 35kw ideal combi. I was initially against a combi due to reliability and didn't want shower going cold when other taps are turned on. But it comes with a 5 year guarantee and been told flow will 14.5 l/min through boiler.

    Unvented system quote

My reason behind this is that I'm currently having loft converted and will be putting in en suite with shower therefore would require either sealed system or putting in negative head pump. Space isn't so much an issue as I can move the water tanks to void in the loft. I'm now starting to...

    Loft conversion

Your right that should have read "vented system" Don't really want to go to the cost of changing the system around but will if I have to. Is not feasible to just add another pump (neg head)from existing hot water tank running shower and hot water taps? Thanks for responding

    Loft conversion

After a bit of advice, just in the process of starting to have the loft converted. We are going to have a bedroom and en suite. Currently we have an unvented system with the shower been supplied by separate pump. Because of the height of the cold water header tank it seems I will need a...

    Slate Patio

I have had a look at the site and if I'm looking at the calculator its saying to add sand-cement and gravel. Reading other posts on this topic I haven't seen it mention gravel for bedding down flags, so would you recomend adding gravel with the mix or just stick with sand and cement?

    Slate Patio

I'm hoping to lay a slate patio in the next couple of weeks, the area is 6x5 meters. I will be putting down MOT1 down first and then laying the flags on a wet bed of 2.2.1.sharp/building sand. cement. What I'm not sure of is amounts, I reckon about 7 tonne of MOT1 should be enough, how much...
