Saw one of these being advertised when i was picking a valve up from a local parts centre. Looks like a pen. How do they work. Seems like a magnet lights them up. But is'nt a solenoid a magnet so how would you know if the solenoid was working or not?? Tom

Thanks Nickso. Its leaking from out of the central pin that hits the microswitch. I have a service kit with all the bits included. Agree with your comment about not touching the iso valves. Is it ok to just drain the boiler by the prv. Or i also see what looks like a plastic drain off...

thanks for the reply lunat. I checked the pump (removed centre screw with long flat blade screwdriver). Small trickle of water and the pump was spinning - could see it turning. Tom

Help I have just moved into my flat. It has a C&M centora condensing combi. Probably been switched off for past cople of months. I switched it on at the fuse spur and at the boiler. It fired up on heating but when i ran the hot tap i got the code 07. It then did this on heating. The...
