I wantto convert a 1996 Ford escort 1.4 I took one of these cars to Gambia about 5 years ago but it was an expensive and painful experienceto get it converted there

I am taking a car to Gambia but want to convert it to left hand drive b efore it goes. I have tried to find lhd parts in uk but no luck. only other way is a trip to northern France to a scrapyard. Any advise gratefully kreceived. Anyone know of any British owned/english speaking garages...
