Old texecom 88 and iPhone app?

Thanks. Everything seemed to go well with fitting and programming the comwifi unit from the computer, until it came to programming it into the panel, which seemed somehow to have bu**ered the settings on the comwifi so I can't log into it either from the network or its own wifi. Gnrr! Does...

Old texecom 88 and iPhone app?

Hi, I have a premier 88 with v8.01 loaded (I think it's about 7 years old). I'm planning to add on a comwifi unit shortly, which sounds pretty straightforward. Here's the question: I know that officially the apps aren't supported on anything pre-8.14, but is there any way I could get the...

Help! Is partial replacement of my old GCH system possible?

Thanks Dave, and (sorry to pile on all these questions...) how about a very rough idea for doing the boiler replacement (with the Vaillant 937 as before), and replacing all 13 rads, but using all of the existing GCH pipes (these are a mixture of 1 inch iron and copper around the various rooms)...

Help! Is partial replacement of my old GCH system possible?

Thanks for the reply. In addition to stripping out all the existing rads, are you suggesting its best to strip out the existing pipework too? One problem with our house is that the ground floor is hard, and has no cellar (concrete floors with parquet on top). So if we were going for a full...

Help! Is partial replacement of my old GCH system possible?

Dear All, I'd greatly appreciate advice about the following: We've recently moved into a 1960s house, with an old GCH system with an old Potterton Kingfisher (over 30 years old) boiler and skirting rads in all rooms. The DHW (gravity system) and GCH feed pipes at the boiler are all 1.5 inch...
