thanks to all who gave me advise on radiator i have now solved and repaired it for £8.99 :D :D

the thermostat on the wall which controls all rads is working ok as rest of rads are working

no we do not have a pump anywhere except in boiler if the thermostat has gone why would i have no heating at all as all the rads have there own rad and rest of heating is working fine

how do i turn pump to full speed i have a valiant eco tec sytem

yes they are 22 ml with 15ml teeing off to the radiator this all sounds feasable to me (not a diyer) no nothing about plumbing but it was working the other day only thing happened since is that electric went off for 5 mins could this do anything if not do you think i need a new thermostat

sorry to be a pain but when you say on the last leg the only way i can explain how it is laid out is as follows in the loft where there are several pipes the pipes to this rsd lead off from another hot pipe and come straight to this rad on there own

i am on top floor of two storey but it is a funny lay out of flats i have my own loft and all wiring is within my own flat all wires can be dropped down from loft so i can either have walls chased out or conduit any idea on price now

can anyone tell me how much i would expect to pay for a full rewire in a 2 bedroom flat which is all on one level

can anyone answer for me please in theory if i had air in the pipes or if the rad themostat had failed would this cause radiator to be cold and would the pipes leading to the loft be cold even if where the pipes tee off to this rad are hot in the loft

i am no diyer but what is a trv and does it seem a serios or expensive problem i have had no problem since it was fitted

not sure if this has caused the cold rad but the other day the electric went off for about ten mins

i have blead the radiator and air came out but still cold pipes and radiator just as amatter of cause the electric did go off the other day for a few mins and it was working up to then i believe would this cause an air lock to one rad

can anyone help i have a vailant boiler (12 months ) i live in a flat on one floor all the radiators are hot except one which does not get hot also the pipework to the radiator is cold i went in the loft and the pipes are hot but the pipes leading to the cold radiator are cold which is confusing...
