The radiators in my house have no white caps on them so I am not sure which is the inlet and which is the outlet. Is the inlet the pipe that stays the hottest. Also any ides for moving the pin (?) valve part when it is stuck. I have tried loosening the nut below it but no joy? thanks

I need to get my radiators balanced. The radiators at the moment do not have th independant thermostats on them. What are the reasons for having these put on?
