    Newly Plastered Ceiling

    I took your advice and looked at data sheet - it does say for Crown Trade Clean Extreme Matt to use this as the mist coat & top coat.

    Newly Plastered Ceiling

    Because it's a kitchen ..... and advice is 'kitchen & bathroom' paint (or the TRADE equivalent eg Clean Extreme) you are right I don't particularly want a sheen. I'm open to better options if any.

    Newly Plastered Ceiling

    Have a new plaster ceiling in klitchen, will leave 2 weeks then get it painted, the approach on Dulux website as below, but Painter is saying this is old way, and now should be all Vinyl matte. >>> Mix and Apply a Mist Coat Create your mist coat using a standard contract matte emulsion (which...

    Hole bush/ liner

    I am needing to run some data cables from a cupboard to an adjoining shelving unit. Drilling the holes is easy enough it’s through 2 x 20mm MDF walls. It would make sense to have some some of ‘top hat’ style bush to line the hole. Something like attached, but smaller (around 20mm) is there a...

    Fitting bearing in a cast iron brake drum

    I have an SBS trailer, that uses AlKo braked hubs - with sealed parallel bearings. One of the bearings needs replacing. By a bit of warming up of the drum, and use of a large socket was able to drift out the old bearing. I need to fit new bearing, with no risk of damage. I don’t have an...

    NICAD -> NiMH

    Nope, if you look at picture, they are soldered to the board, and all this slides into a plastic module - part of the handle. Don't think any AAA holder would fit in space

    NICAD -> NiMH

    The new ones I could use are defn. NiMH I'll try the swap.

    Feed to Sauna

    What would be logical is default power to Sauna .. then activating contractor would switch instead to Sauna heater, reverting to Sauna heater as soon as shower finished. So it would be 28A default load (when it’s required as on thermostat) Then a 40A for shower only if switch operated. At no...
