thanks this is very helpful I have managed to open both values, I cant hear water running through, however water is coming out from the right hand valve. The pressure is still not rising. Should this take some time or only a minute or two? Also should the boiler be on or off?

After bleeding the radiators, the gauge now shows at almost zero (with the radiators off). How can I increase this to the manufacturers recommended 1.5 - 2 There is a silver hose which links the domestic input and central heating return pipes. (picture included) Thanks Any help would be...
