After bleeding the radiators, the gauge now shows at almost zero (with the radiators off). How can I increase this to the manufacturers recommended 1.5 - 2
There is a silver hose which links the domestic input and central heating return pipes. (picture included)
Thanks
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a small pair of grips or pliers as the handles have been removed from the valves.

first open the one on the right a quater of a turn, now open the one to the left slowly, you should be able to here water running. allow the black needle to read a little over one bar. close off both valves.

One side of the loop should be disconnected on completion.

thanks this is very helpful

I have managed to open both values, I cant hear water running through, however water is coming out from the right hand valve. The pressure is still not rising. Should this take some time or only a minute or two?

Also should the boiler be on or off?

thank you thank you for your kindness and explanation

On closer inspection I was just turning just the screw not the whole valve. It seems fine now

Thank you very much
