    That was my first guess aswell and it seems to be in the exact area where the fan is.. Is there anyway of resolving this...? When it happens the boiler wont fire back up until the heat exchanger starts cooling.

    ya spot on sure the boiler doesnt even fire up. Will isolating the main and running hot tap be sufficient in the removal process.. Or will have to drain down further.?

    I cant be certain but think its a potterton prima f.... The safety is on pipework coming off boiler so why would that effect it if i where to seal it??

    Hi guys I need to run the open vent and cold feed coming off the flow pipe of a boiler approx. 3 metres.. will this be a problem... Initially they will raise up flow pipe about a 1metre but then need to run horizontally for the 3 metres or so and then raise up again to attic.
