Hi guys I bought this part for a boiler, part no. 5114725. It came with no gasket. Do I need a gasket or does it connect to the diverter valve body as is?

Just flick the old one off 99% of time comes off in one piece and ok to re-use it

Thanks for reply guys. No washer came with it. And d manual has no spec on what one to use. Will probably just have to physically compare. There was a drip coming from it so if it has a washer it is probably defective. Ya was thinking about PTFE too but just wanted know should a washer be used. Would of expected it with the sensor.
