Hi, all.

I need to find a gasket that goes between my gas fire and back boiler (BBU?).

It's a Thorn Housewarmer 55 boiler, with a Emberglow 2 fire (GC No. 44-494-12 (?)).

Apparently the key number (?) is 157 and the GC no. 130611.

The part number for the gasket is P85411.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these gaskets?

All help appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris.

I thought this was just a standard rope seal anyway? I might be wrong. but you can get rope seal of the shelf from parts center. as said RGI work only :)

Try here :

You need to be CORGI registered to work on this appliance.

Thanks guys, I'll have a look at the site.

I'm not Corgi registered and don't intend to do the work myself. A local company is doing it, but so far they have been useless, and they are not making much of an effort to find the part. This is an attempt to get the fire re-assembled, to keep my other half happy.

Cheers,

Chris.
