hi i want to continue the laminate floor that is in the living room into the porch. at the moment the floor in the living room stops at the threshold strip but i want to continue it into the porch. whats the best way of joining the 2 sections together?? it is the same floor so no problems...

the crimping is what i intend to do. crimp the new cable onto the old, cover he joint completely in heat shrink tubing and leave it as a permanent jopin under the floor. then run the new cables into the socket but sleeve them with the old colours and put a notice on the CU to that effect.
