What surface are you tiling onto? Powder adhesives are the way to go , but you can get a reaction with plaster so you need to seal the plaster. I use Kerakoll H40 Ideal. No priming and instant grab

I want to tidy up some pipework that runs from the ceiling down through some boxing to a panel radiator, and I want to fit a vertical panel radiator. Can I fit the valves at the top of the radiator and do away with a load of pipework and channelling into a solid wall? I know its a dumb question...
