    where did i say both lights came on together with 2 and 5? i said the bedroom light switch turned on the wardrobe the bedroom light was not coming on

    i got it working atr some point the bulb in the bedroom light has blown changed that and reconnected and tightened all wires and all is working as i hoped it would many thanks for all the help offered by you all

    yes it has it's own pully style switch which works fine when connected just no light in the bedroom i tried connecting the new light on terms 2+5 but now the bedroom switch operates the wardrobe light
