    You need to engage the cam on euro profile cylinders for them to unlock the door. I don't know where you drilled, a picture would be good. To engage the cam you need to push something right to the back of the barrel ie a key or flat bit of steel, then turn the barrel and it will unlock

    If the draught is coming in on the hinge side, you will need to replace the hinges as the riveted plates on the top of the hinges become lose and no longer guide the window in to it's correct position to form a seal.

    Mag locks are low security, use a system as stated above, thumbturn cylinder and electronic striker plate controlled by intercom and maybe an electronic keypad on the outside of the building.

    Sounds like the rack-bolt has snapped (like they do) you may be able to get at the broken end through the keyway with a small screwdriver to work the bolt back or as said above you can work them back through the gap between the window and frame with paint scraper or putty knife

    I registered to reply to this topic The cam has slipped You need to replace that euro cylinder in the picture, you could get someone to house sit while you go and get a replacement from a DIY shed
