haier / rangemaster RDW6015fI bottom arm won't spin - FIXED!

Good to know it helped someone else. I like to give something back when I can as everyone on here is always so helpful. I know haiers are supposed to be crap but it's done five years now so not doing too bad :) maybe I have just lucked out this time.

Domed Tap screw cover won't budge

Sorry for slow reply (wife inconveniently went into labour:)) Thanks for your replies. Bizarrely I also tried the eraser thing just after I posted but no joy. I tried numerous times with the Stanley but didn't budge at all, just keeps snapping the end off the blade or bending to point of...

Domed Tap screw cover won't budge

Hi guys, I have a bathroom sink tap that needs the valve replacing but I can't get the cap off to remove the tap handle. It is domed and I can see no way to remove it. I have tried to prise it off with a Stanley and screwdriver and also tried to turn it but I can't get a grip on it to do...

    Yale Entry / away Entry

Hi thanks for the reply. I have the downstairs covered and this PIR was purely to activate the entry when we come down in the morning on route to the alarm panel to remind us to deactivate the alarm otherwise someone will walk into the living room or kitchen and set off the alarm. I have...

hi, the above is what I thought it would do but I have just installed mine and its the wrong way round! maybe I am being an idiot but on my HSA 6400 I have set the Pir in the hall to away entry and the door contact to entry with chime on. When I home arm the device to disable the upstairs...

haier / rangemaster RDW6015fI bottom arm won't spin - FIXED!

Just a quick update again in case anyone else comes across this. After 3 washes it happened again and the bottom arm stopped spinning (hadn't even touched the single layer half load button so not sure why) either way it appears it isn't just a clean up job and the valve would need replacing...

    Rad valves - Sweating?

It's unlikely to be sweating unless the room is very hot and the pipes very cold causing condensation. Almost certainly a slight leak, I always found as many others on here will say its a bit of an art form using PTFE tape on radiator tails (if it is the tails that are leaking) some people...

    Neff dishwasher

I would agree as all the component parts seem to be working during other parts of the cycle. Does it do the same thing in all program's?

Radiators warm even when central heating switched off?

I would suggest a faulty motorised valve maybe that's feeding water through both the central heating circuit and the water tank circuit at the same time but I am not an expert. This is of course assuming that you don't have a combi boiler. That said it is odd that it started after just...

haier / rangemaster RDW6015fI bottom arm won't spin - FIXED!

Despite previous reply (I get haiers or rubbish but it's what I am stuck with unfortunately) I gave it a bash, and voila repaired for 0 cost. In case anyone comes over this thread with the same problem with either rangemaster or haier:- 1.Hoisted up a foot or so and removed base plate (...

Can I lay down my dishwasher to repair it?

Thanks. The pressure switch is on the right but the pressure chamber is on the left. Is it the switch or the chamber I need to avoid damaging and tilting it on to?

Can I lay down my dishwasher to repair it?

Hi guys I need to get to the underside of my integrated dishwasher to fix a fault. There were no issues with it draining itself so the sump should be pretty much empty but there is water in the salt dispenser etc. Am I likely to cause any damage by lying I down or do I need to drain it...

haier / rangemaster RDW6015fI bottom arm won't spin - FIXED!

Hi again it is intact a rebadged haier, so unlucky it appears I am. It is extremely similar to this one http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Integrated-Dishwashers-Dishdrawers/buy-HAIER-DW15-CBE7-Integrated-Dishwashers-Dishdrawer/398893 I have taken the side panel off and traced what seems to be the...
