    U-Duct replacement boiler

This is what I was looking at installing Tony: http://www.vokera.co.uk/home-owners/non-condensing-boilers/compact-se/ not doing anything now until Those regs appear!

Open Flue but rlpowell's comments about not being able to use it in the near future are disturbing!

    U-Duct replacement boiler

Ideally no. This would involve putting a boiler in their tiny lounge with pipework visible and where the toddler plays. I looked at this option to start with as I would happily have installed a Vaillant but this is a definite no-no!!

    U-Duct replacement boiler

Hi guys, I need to replace a 24KW boiler in a flat. The existing boiler is flued into a U-Duct. Obviously I need a non-condensing boiler, preferably RS I have asked around to find Vaillant & Worcester do not make them for this system any more. I read Vokera do a Compact 24SE but are there any...

Stubborn air lock in bathroom basin hot tap.

yes I was hoping to do that but as usual, no isolation valves!! I don't want to have to drain down unless unavoidable. thanks anyway. Could do with one of those old fashioned top-loading washing machine fillers my mum used to push over the taps when I was a kid. anyone know where to get one??

Stubborn air lock in bathroom basin hot tap.

Just back from a property with a kitchen mixer tap and a bathroom basin with 2 taps. There was a trickle from both hot taps but the cold taps are fine. Palmed the kitchen mixer tap forcing mains pressure cold back up the hot pipe the usual way and this cleared it instantly. However the bathroom...

    Reducing from 22mm to 15mm

When fitting a bathroom suite, I tee 22mm pipe to the bath taps and reduced to 15mm to take a feed to the shower. I do this to ensure the water pressure stays as high as possible for running a bath. It is often a pain in the arse using 22mm due to lack of space (and cost!) and would have found...

    Calling all parts Gurus!!

Hi all. can any of you parts gurus kindly tell me the make, model or other information about the 2 shower valves below. I came across them in the same premises with the same fault. the safety temperature button has broken off them meaning that they are stuck on full heat. As they are concealed...
